- Guides the documentation of clinical process to collect medical record information and share patient information to reduce redundancy, standardization of clinical practice workflow and eliminate paper.
- Participate in the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System, , and the Advanced Alternative Payment Model, for the adaptation of the new EPIC EMR system
- Assists providers on the process redesign for fee-for-service Medicare payment approach that will be launched for providers who are participating in specific value-based care models.
- Participate in all functions of three legacy CMS based programs: Meaningful Use, the Physician Quality Reporting System and the Value-Based Payment Modifier
Educates reviews workflow requirements that will qualify,providers to meet requirements: Use certified EHR technology, base payments on quality measures comparable to MIPS which will require providers to bear more than nominal risk. . Build final rule tables to identify advanced APMs: Comprehensive ESRD Care Model (LDO and non-LDO two-sided risk arrangements)-Comprehensive Primary Care Plus Model-Medicare Shared Savings Program Tracks 2 and 3
Coordinates patient care documentation between clinical and IT .
Guide the documentation requirements of clinical processes to collect record and shared patient information , reduce redundancy, standardize clinical practice and documentation .
Understands regulatory compliance including CMS and JCAHO guidelines.
BSN-Bachelor of Science/Nursing
5 years experience in clinical documentation
Prepared for Meaningful use , HEDIS data collection or Physician Quality Reporting Systems
Understand the Medicare EHR incentive payment process.
Advanced technology and reporting skills.
Ability to present information and communicate with internal and external partners.
Understands regulatory compliance-JCAHO, CMS requirements
prior EPIC Super User OR Nursing Informatics background
