Sr. Resolute Backend Hospital Billing EMR Analyst

 Using Epic Resolute Hospital Billing software, the Analyst will define system requirements for inpatient hospital interfacing application.

Acts as a liaison for supporting application enhancement and requests to programmers.

Documents application changes and coordinates with managers and Revenue Cycle, and billing and front end staff

Acts as a liaison between end users and back-end systems IT to translate daily user needs into technical improvements and improve  computer workflow.

Collaborates with IT staff to determine the software requirements and application interface enhancement requests and communicates to  programmers.

Prepares written documentation of the need for application changes or replacements, and coordinates staff and manages multiple projects or large tasks for their implementation.

Educates team members on errors, bugs and technical trade tips to the team.

Develops project scope plans, project plans, and issue logs; monitors and reports status of project plans to Lead IS staff and/or manager

Collaborates with end users: professional revenue cycle team, budget and financial denial team, claims, billing, coding, clinical end users as well as other non clinical business offices.  

Will conduct system requirements for Hospital billing related to physician and hospital billing functions

Regularly communicates and solves revenue cycle technical and systems application problems.

Extracts technical information related to revenue cycle system applications.


Requirements:

Computer skills: Hospital Billing Software required If not Epic, will be trained and will need to obtain certification provided through the employer.

Education Computer Science or IS Degree ideal. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience: 5+ years in Physician, hospital billing and revenue cycle department AND 3+ years as and IT Information Systems Analyst- including Project Development Life Cycle- (PDLC) 

Revenue Cycle process: CDM edits, Coding,CPT, Claims processing, ICD-10, HCPCS,CDM, Charge Capture, Encounter Service Provided, HCFA 150-Physician Billing Form, UB92 Uniformed Billing, payment posting, utilization review, patient access.
